Losing weight and getting in better shape is not hard. We make it hard because we’re told it needs to be hard. Another reason why we find it so difficult is we take the 4 alarm approach. We ar DRS believe, we are shocked by the idea we have gained more weight than we believe, or we discover we are not in the shape we thought we are.

This shock makes us try to get it back quicly, so we take the 4 alarm fire approach and we race out to try and fix this in a week. This causes us to make the process much more difficult than it actually is. We begin reading and tuning in to the expertss, not realizing the conflicting messages we are given. We then begin to push ourselves harder than we need to, or we tendto forget we’re not in the greatt shape or we’re a little heavier so there is more stress put on our joints and our systems

This causes the process to become much more difficult. However, if we tend to stay relaxed and think carefully about out approach we will learn that it doesn’t have to be as hard.. Losing weight and getting in shape is not hard.. it’s long.. It’s a marathon. This is good because we learn and develop over time the techniques that will allow us to remain successful. When we are given quick fixes, we lose appreciation for the process and can easily fall back into the habits that caused the problem in the first place.

However,   if we take  a slow and steady approach we learn what works, how it works, and why. We also develop the habits that work. Practice makes perfect.
