How Intermittent Fasting helps you stay healthy

Giving your body time to process your meals allows your body to properly break down and distribute the nutrients to the different parts of your body. Feeding properly each system in your body. Intermittent fasting helps break the cycle of eating when you’re not hungry. It will help to break the cycle of emotional or boredom eating.

Your diet, your eating habits is not something that changes overnight. It is difficult, mainly because there are habits that you have developed over years, perhaps even decades. It is unreasonable to believe you can change  a 20+ year habit in a day, a week a month.

What it takes is the committment to stay with it through the highs and lows. I am still working on it, however, My poor eating habits are more than half a lifetime, but I can see  progress, and when the occasional slip happens, especially when surrounded by people who do not understand or take their eating habits seriously.

but when  it does  happen, I make a note I monitor how I feel when it happens and I get right back on the horse. I know this is a long process. If I, we  had more reminders it would make it easier, but anything worth having is worht fighting for..
